It was my first visit in 10 years and my second visit in 25 years. It was my sister's first visit in 25 years and my father's first in about 50 years!!! We spent all our summers in the late 1950s and throughout the 1960s in Millport and this was a nostalgic trip back in time. We were so impressed with the standard of the beaches, the floral areas, the grassed verges, the workmen sweeping and cleaning and of course all our old favourites - West Bay, Fintry Bay, Mapes, Ritz, Crazy Golf and Crocodile Rock. But just where was Walter Kerr????? I'm coming back and it will be less than 10 years and I might even bring my bike! Keep up the good work. Had a glorious day visit today Tuesday 7th July 2009.
